The health insurances with this financial crisis are becoming a hot subject because the medical bills are the cause of more than half of all personal bankruptcies in the United States.
Nearly 16 percent of Americans — about 47 million people — are uninsured. According to a story last year in USAToday, the people without health insurance aren’t just the poor — they are all of us. Medical bills are the cause of more than half of all personal bankruptcies in the United States. Access to health insurance and health care that is safe and affordable is easily the biggest domestic crisis facing us.
Health insurance is just one way to fund it and probably not the best way since there are profits involved and shareholders to keep happy. Many folks say they don’t want “socialized” medicine–but clearly the capitalist model isn’t working. Health insurance is a Family Matter analyzes the effects being uninsured can have on the health, finances and general well-being of the family. It also examines the health of uninsured children and pregnant women to see whether they also receive less care and suffer worse health outcomes than do those who are insured.
The insurances will cost you some money but it will offer you protection.
