How to make killer resumes
First you must know some basics rules:
- be short – no more than 2 pages
- stand out of the crowd. Use you creativity to make a unique resume. Use a different format for your resume so as to make it stand apart from the rest of the others. Use colors.
- put the accent on your strengths. If you have experience in the field say it; if you are a fast learner mention this aspect- you get the point. Mention all your quantifiable accomplishments and let your achievements stand out.
Perfect your resume
Your resume is often the first glimpse a potential employer gets of you and your skills, make sure it accurately details your skills and work history and how they can benefit your future employer. Make sure you have someone proof read it before sending it out and try to customize it for each job you are applying for.
Work Experience
If you don’t have any work experience, simply skip this part. If you do, start with the most recent first. Include the company you worked for, what dates you worked there and what your job title was. Also include a brief (3-4 sentences, bullet point lists are better) description of your major responsibilities in the job.
